I can’t believe people have such bad experience with stop/start systems. Either the rest are trash or VW nailed. I hardly ever notice it on my Tiguan. Literally has worked flawlessly for going on 2 years now.

It is not any one thing, it is a combination of many tiny things. Think of it as stubbing your toe. You stub your toe one time on your coffee table, not a big deal.
