Why are the directional wheels in different directions on either side of the car? It’s bothering me.

I am hoping to see a Volvo V60, but I have a feeling I will be waiting until Geneva at the earliest. There are a few photos/videos floating around of some prototypes.

“asymmetrical all wheel drive?”

I am definitely considering one of these, and would even if it was 2WD only. However, the lack of Android Auto support irks me. Do you have any updated info on the possibility of its being included in Mazda Connect in the near future?

I am looking forward to some new offerings from Volvo that will hopefully be unveiled this year, namely the new V60/S60. I am in the market for a quick entry level luxury vehicle and Volvo’s have really intrigued me lately. My wife is looking at XC60s, and I can’t say I blame her. They’re gorgeous.

Any word on Carplay/AA support? That would be a big bonus for me.

It breaks my heart, but these new grills look worse than some of the beaks. I don’t know how that’s possible. They look incredibly out of place.

That front quarter view is fugly. Ouch.

You know if and when this happens in the states, the lawyers would swarm to have the rider pay for the damages to the mattress!

Would it be possible to perform some wizardry in the transfer case to make the 4x4 feature usable in this vehicle? I am afraid at would would happen if somebody actually used the four wheel drive with such a large tire size discrepancy!

Extra points for using the RIGHT name for a lengthy sandwich in the first sentence! Also, hilarious!

“traveling at a high rate of speed”

I can’t even with the song!

I am unable to stop laughing at this.

My wife’s Fiesta! Not even an ST, but the shift points in “S” mode on the DCT are actually quite addictive when darting around Philly.

Man, this headline hurts.

No. This sounds like a dragon sharting its pants.

Your “German Cyborg Car” analogy got me thinking about this guy:

My dad did this with his LX450. We had a VHS-equipped “portable” TV that my brother and I put right behind the front seats, and we watched from the rear folding seats in stretch-legged bliss.

Doug, it definitely looked like you were hypermiling north from DE to Philly in some of those shots!
