I keep going back to, “Hey! Sell it to an American company because it’s a Chinese app that spies on Americans.  We want an American company to spy on Americans!”  I really don’t get it.

Yeah, I once wanted to try and create my own app just to mess around. Took about 15 minutes of digging around their language and said fuck it. That’s coming from a 16 year veteran of software development and dba work, jeez.

Radio host in Austin Charlie Hodge had the idea for this show way back. Eddie Gossling was a guest on a show and Charlie mentioned this idea.  Eddie goes back to LA, talks to Tosh, Eddie is writer/producer for Tosh.

Not all and my 8 year old Acer Chromebook works just like it did new. It’s the one I use for casual personal projects so I’m not distracted like when I use my mobile workstation and work related items pop up.

Im a ways from retirement. I wont be that ‘old guy’.  Luckily the older guys I work with are pretty awesome.

No one believed the IT guy grandpa a few months ago to get the grandkids some Chromebooks. Now they’re struggling to find one without spending way too much. Always believe the old IT guy. :)
