Yeah. There are boxing fans (I know, color me surprised) who are getting really cranky that even people paid to speculate on fights are giving McGregor a chance. The amount of butthurt over the idea that an amateur with heavy hands could topple one of the most boring fighters in the history of the sport would be…
Only way it can benefit either sport is if Conor somehow won (spoiler alert: he won’t) - then UFC might actually start to justify the $4 billion IMG paid for it. But you’re right - this is a one-off spectacle that’s more about making Floyd and Conor a metric fuckton of money than about their respective sports.
Nah, he’s thinking (probably correctly) that Floyd won’t want to take even the 0.0001% chance of getting tagged with a lucky punch and will be content to outbox him for 12 boring rounds, and he’ll collect his $75 million.
If you’re still watching fighting in 2017, you absolutely know this fight is happening already
I’m rooting for Nate Diaz with the chair to knock them both out.
I’m rooting for a meteor strike.
That’s what I’m wondering. I feel like only bad things can come from this for them. Like people who wanted to buy the fight will watch this and wake up to how stupid it all is and realize that the fight is going to be equally stupid and likely far more boring.
on the bright side, we should all be dead by then
You are dealing with trolls. Even a cursory research on Monsanto and they are “bad”. They said DDT was safe, Agent Orange. Synthetic bovine Growth hormone and they were caught bribing canadian officials to let it pass. They were turned in. Of Course the US used it for many years until people sniffed out the bullshit.…
Hey man, as long as it’s a ‘CONTROLLED BURN’ then i’m on team brushfire.
Lol, because err’ing on the cancer-side of the pesticide argument is coming from an objective place of analysis.
Except that whole cancer thing, amirite?
Monsanto is bad. In fact, they are terrible. They are one of the least ethical corporation on the planet, and in fact may be the least ethical.
Have you considered that, in light of conclusive evidence, the better course of action is to avoid the product that may contain cancer-causing agents and seek sources of produce that are grown without it?
Monsanto is a big reason why the US and much of the world has such a plentiful and inexpensive food supply corn and soy.
So according to you, “cheap but gives you a fatal disease” is better than “more expensive but doesn’t poison you to death”. Thank you for playing. The exit is that way.
If you take a moment to look into the history of Monsanto’s awful products, you wouldn’t be holding out for MORE analysis. They truly are an awful company and its not just roundup... rBGH, terminator seeds, Agent Orange, Dioxin, DDT, and PCBs. Its a long history at this point of terrible, cruel and poisonous…
This is a stupid hill to literally die (a horrible death) on. Enjoy your Waterloo, brave internet Napoleon.
Good luck, fearless crusader. Report back with any news of lumps, forehead ears.
