A colleague of mine once hit a full size suitcase, at night, on the interstate going 85mph. He set sail and managed to stick the landing on his (at the time new) BMW K12RS. He was around 70 years old at the time.

Fortunately, I live in a very safe area but in our outskirts we have rough areas and there are muggings and at least a shooting or two nearly every night in the surrounding community. Sadly, its been getting worse in recent years.
