Every repair order that I’ve ever seen and signed via Reynolds & Reynolds and ADP/CDK clearly state that the dealership is not responsible for any loss/damage/fire/theft while the vehicle is on their property. Does this not hold up in court when such instances occur?

I loved this feature on my old Sport-Trac when I lived in the city. When it was covered in snow it was nice to run down, start it, lock it up and come back 30 minutes later to a clear vehicle. Also, when running into the store during subzero temperatures it was nice to just leave it running and climb back into toasty…
