Try Monkey Hooks (there are a bunch of knockoff brands too now, at Lowe’s/Home Depot/etc...):

I’m a huge fan of Monkey Hooks (there are a bunch of knockoff brands now too) for hanging stuff on walls; they only make a small hole, they’re super easy to install, hold a surprising amount of weight, and remove really easily as well.

“But like all romances in life, once the honeymoon phase fades away those once-charming quirks can start to grate on your nerves. Like, I wish the Asus Flow X13 came with more than one USB port. I’ve always preferred using a wireless mouse with laptops, and I’ve usually gone with USB connections in the past, but

The FAA issued a directive in 2014 to replace Honeywell displays in certain aircraft because of WiFi interference. But as far as I know, that’s the only real confirmed case of interference.

Shouldn’t the photo for this article at least show an HDMI port?  A photo of the one foot of a TV with a PS4 in the background seems like an odd choice.

Michael Dorn’s Idea for a Worf-Centric Star Trek Series Sound Pretty Cool

“This is not meant to bash the iPhone 12 or MagSafe accessories specifically. ICDs can be easily activated and deactivated by sources with magnetic fields, including Fitbits or vape pens. ”

“but even that doesn’t help lessen the loss of moisture one usually sees when cooking ground beef. (If you’ve ever cooked a mass of meat for a sauce or chili, you know the pool of liquid I am referring to.)”

It’s too bad that Samsung made so many cuts to the regular S21 compared to the regular S20; screen has half the resolution, 4GB of RAM less, plastic back, no expandable storage.  I guess it makes the S21 Ultra that much more appealing?

For phones and tablets, what about iPhones and iPads?  They receive at least 5 years of software updates and hold their monetary value pretty well for when you want to upgrade.

“(mainly because, unlike Apple who controls every single aspect of its phone construction - even down to the modem now if rumours are true)”

Yup.  I mean, that’s basically modern society now, right? People used to complain (and still do) that the government/corporations are tracking and/or spying on them, yet most people voluntarily upload all sorts of media to Facebook/Instagram/TikTok/whatever else with nary a second thought.

And if someone with a Ferrari Roma drove up to you said, “this is my budget supercar”, you wouldn’t roll your eyes?  Of course you would, because that is an absurd use of the word.

But the author literally started that sentence with, “Like the detective stories”, so they already stated they are about to discuss the similarities between cyberpunk and detective stories. They basically said, “Cyberpunk, like detective stories focuses on the real world, although cyberpunk takes it to an

I get that part. He starts off the paragraph by describing what sets cyberpunk apart from other scifi, but then says, “Cyberpunk does the same thing”... which makes no sense, since he’s now saying that cyberpunk does the same thing as...what? Cyberpunk does the same thing as cyberpunk?

“Now when you say budget...”

“There’s a lot of things that set the cyberpunk genre apart from other science fiction, including its roots in noir and its unidealized protagonists and dystopian settings. Like the detective stories of the ‘30s and ‘40s, there’s a focus on the problems, challenges, and dangers of the real world, although this focus

“E2EE is only available on a handful of devices at launch:”

I read that part of the article as saying either port could be used for recharging.  Either way, the people who complain that buy a laptop with more ports will then... constantly plug/unplug multiple devices instead of one cable?  That doesn’t make any more sense, does it?  Or am I just missing something?

The tax hadn’t been calculated at that point because I hadn’t started the checkout process yet. I ended up not getting them because I realized I didn’t need to get them. I’ll hold off for a month or so and see if I still really want to get them and see if any other deals pop up.
