“Despite all that HBO Max, evidently grasping for subscribers, is being offered at a discounted rate of $12 for a year during September.”

“Don’t buy something you can’t afford to replace easily if your roommate spills beer all over it, because AppleCare is not going to cover that shit.”

“...too bad I’ve discovered I’m gluten intolerant during the pandemic.”

“What is a calorie”

“Yeah it’s not true. Disney plus subscribers still have to pay the $30”

“The film will also be free for all D+ users starting December 4”

“Considering Mulan’s gravity-defying fight sequences”

I always look for the label before I put the sheet on, so I’ve never had to re-do putting on a fitted sheet; I didn’t realize it was enough of an issue to warrant an article on Lifehacker.

“I have a king, and this is why I only purchase sheets with vertical stripes in the fabric. When you have those, you never put the fitted sheet on wrong the first time.”

“try not to think about why they’re giving out so much free poultry.”

“The two companies eventually reached a compromise: Basecamp could allow users to sign up via the iOS app and then have those users transition to a paid account on the web.”

Anyone have a list?  Given how shitty all of G/O Media’s websites are on mobile, a list I can just read would be significantly more efficient.

““Repeat after me: ‘I understand that you do not want this change to my service.’””

I was wondering the same thing! Even worse is the caption, where they acknowledge this:

I never said that it was OK. It’s interesting that you inferred that. I merely put forth a hypothetical situation where I could see Best Buy doing that, and speculating as to their justification.

“If you buy a phone from Best Buy, they get a cut of the initial purchase, and that is totally fine. Now here is the part that actually matters. Should Best Buy also take a cut from the recurring monthly payments you pay to whatever cellular service you use?”

“*BUT* every single car on their lot gets a dealer tag frame screwed right into the front bumper upon arrival. I hate front plates and if at all possible I try to buy cars that have unmolested front bumpers.”

“The 7th generation starts at some $60 lower, even, IIRC?”

“I’m in the DC area and in spite of this being a large metro with many Kia dealers, the closest Stinger GT2 RWD with a not-black interior is 500+ miles away from me in Tennessee.”
