absolutely! been wanting to rewatch lately.

I think the flash animation is the biggest reason cartoons look like this. I don’t know if they actually use Flash anymore, but you can tell that a lot of the animation is actually interpolation from a computer. Everything stays the same size and shape no matter what.

Someone put the word finger before it and now it’s ruined for me for any future journalistic endeavors

“Please refrain from judging those who don’t show their pain on social media.”

Admonish?

The Public: Posting “Thoughts and Prayers” is useless and stupid.

oh my fucking god blast me

NEGATIVE cool beans. Sell the movie to a service in Canada, please (not any of them that I don’t already have, though)

Well, it’s easy to delete from your phone.

I’m just a simple country hyperchicken, but it seems to me that people are interested in content, not in some fancy newfangled format with limited accessibility. Quibi’s shows all could have been world-beaters and the fact that they’re in a weird unusual format and could (initially) only be watched on mobile seem

Tragic but not surprising considering the circumstances this was discovered (the alternative was she abandoned her child in the middle of lake or was kidnapped).

I’m not as familiar with Larson’s work as some people, but allow me to submit one of his comics that always tickled me:

I offer simply this as my counter statement:

The US equivalent would be Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert. He’s... got a lot to say that he shouldn’t.

I was legit worried when I saw the headline that this was going to be another Michael Leunig story. For context, Leunig is a 75-year old Australian cartoonist with a decades-long career that I think many people remembered fondly until he started putting out anti-vax, anti-LGBT, anti-feminist and mother-critical comics.

I always think of this one when I walk through a spider’s web:

Oh please, oh please...

Thanks to Gary Larson, I will forever write CAT FUD on my shopping lists...

I haven’t seen it in years since it came out but I do remember enjoying Andy Samberg as a romantic lead in Celeste And Jesse Forever. Very happy to see him as another rom-com lead in this, definitely looking forward to it!

Edge of Tomorrow also had a person newly stuck in a loop meeting a person who’d already experienced it.
