Rural upstate NY resident here. Those of you who don’t know, while NYC and downstate counties carried Hillary for the state, most of the rest of the state went with Trump.

Upstate NY, particularly the Hudson Valley, has an odd dichotomy to its car culture. From what I see, there are two very different worlds which are directly related to the NYC weekender crowd versus local residents.

McLaren Racing’s recent attempt at the Indy 500 was also marred by the inability to convert from metric to English while adjusting the car’s ride height. As a result, the bottom of car scraped the along the pavement sending a shower of sparks behind. 

This is pretty cool, but I don’t think it is $4k cool.
