We have a good time there and have been lucky enough to get seats with a line of sight down the straight approaching turn 6. 

The subway is great for getting there, but afterwards it is damn-near frightening. We have taken the ferry from Old Montreal and that is a lot less stressful...especially if you don’t like being packed into small spaces with lots of people.

And don’t forget that in Canada, General Admission for kids under 11 is free and even better, if you sit in the Family Grandstand, kids under 15 are free. This year will be my third visit and second with kids.
