The CX-3 is actually quite smaller than both the 3 and the Outback XV. We were very close to shortlisting the CX-3 as our next purchase, however the limited cargo volume (12.4 CF to the 3’s 20.2 and XV’s 22.3) killed that idea. Also, the CX-3 is not available with a manual transmission like the 3 and XV.

I know a lot of guys who have moved to Scorpion lately and they make a killer product

Cop: They called and said you were at the Sam’s Club and you put a child in the trunk of a car, and they were uh...

Second generation Honda Insight

I would always see these down on the Jersey Shore, too. And the times we couldn’t see them, we could still hear that gun as they did training runs over the Pine Barrens.

the gull-style “falcon doors” have enough hinges in them that Tesla thinks the the car will still be escapable.

Yes. Nurburgring was also the site of his first F1 win.

Here, I am going to rewrite your post in three words:

No doubt they will be better than factory all seasons, and may be the best alternative if Nokians are not available in your area. If I had never used the Nokian snows first, I would have thought the way the Blizzaks floated all over the road in dry conditions was the way snow tires handled. In the end, they got me

I am in in upstate NY and have had Nokian snow tires on all my cars. I bought a set of Bilzzaks one year and wish I didn’t. Compared to the Nokians, they floated all over the road, never felt secure, and didn’t last as many seasons. My wife travels 100 highway miles a day and instead of putting dedicated snows on her

- My factory tires were Yokohama Geolanders (P225/55R17). They are OK, they do function in the snow (I drive in MD during the past few snow and it was great). Not the greatest all season tire, I will replace them with better all seasons and eventually get snow tires.

Watched these as one of the support races at the Canadian GP this year...about the same story. Pretty much everyone around us at the hairpin zoned out and used this time to get snacks and souvenirs.

I will trade my drink with Kimi for a drink with Mark Webber. Kimi seems like he would be a let down.

A recent sci-fi trilogy that builds on the fighting robot theme is The Northern Star series of books by Mike Gullickson. It is a bit darker than this, but a pretty good read.

Does the article really benefit from a GIF in the middle of the page? It sure as hell makes it impossible to continue reading without needing some Dramamine. It is bad enough that there is one at the top of every article. Just because you can put one everywhere, doesn’t mean you should.

I have a few nicer watches (nothing like this collection) however my two favorites are my Timex Weekender that was a gift from my wife and a surf watch by Quiksilver that I bought with my first paycheck some 25 years ago.

Not sure if it was the Blue Angels or the Thunderbirds, but I spent summers on the Jersey Shore (LBI) and would sit on the bulkhead watching these guys practice over the Pine Barrens. It was like a free air show every couple of weeks. I never saw anything like this, though!

I am between the eulogy for Saab (S18, E5) and the British roadster challenge (S16, E6).

Sweet! Chevy updated the Malibu Maxx!!!

Yet after a few years when that white leather starts to show its age, you won’t mind if the kids puke all over it, because - well - it’s just a Mazda.
