How far up the Taconic did you take it? Hopefully far enough to enjoy rock walls and 1 foot deep catch basins. It is a great drive, so long as you can avoid the deer, cops, and weekenders.

I have only seen a B-King in person once, and I almost got hit by a car as I ran across a gas station parking lot to talk to the rider about it. Photos had me questioning whether or not I like it, but in person your "purposeful attractiveness" description perfectly sums up its aesthetic.
