Maybe I am just a little burned on the issue post-Game of Thrones so I am not as willing to give writers the credit, and a lot of people have trouble conceiving of a man being raped by a woman, so maybe I just projected that doubt onto the screen.

Ah I didn't remember that stuff about mentioning Bryan and Miller's long term relationship in seasons 1 and 2 probably because its been a while.
hey sorry it took so long to reply. Gonna reply to some of your cross post thoughts and then your more recent ones.
Stealing Fire:
Yeah I saw them shooting in Philly in the late summer/fall, so they definitely do location shooting. And yeah that cobblestone street also looked familiar but i couldn't pinpoint exact location or block
yeah took most of FJ but it clicked eventually. but the category definitely held me back
yup another four for next week
I think the old Ice Nation queen mentioned that she had been hiding a black blood kid, with i think the implication being that unlike the rest of the kids this potential heir was not being exposed to Lexa. So yeah i imagine it will come down to the one Lexa favored and the Ice Nation kid.
I think it failed in the flashback because ALIE locked them out of the system, but I doubt ALIE still has access (or perhaps there is a way to activate it manually).
Yeah ALIE 2 has to be key to stopping ALIE 1. thought they lingered on the black blood in the flashback and in the mentions of the future potential commanders so maybe the black blood is the key. They did mention a kill switch for ALIE in the flashback so that could come back as well. It will probably be Clarke…
That scene made me mad too. He framed her actions as selfish and I like how that made me think about both characters there.
I actually really like how they are doing ALIE and her followers interaction. Like you say the information doled out is selective but targeted well.
Hakeldama:
whoops forgot to post here yesterday but i watched another 4 episodes of the 100 to discuss with Scrawler (which i will do below).
you monster
IMDB forgot me again. What a travesty.
yeah that was something I also considered but I think that way madness lies. I think really if you like the final category you get aggressive and if you dont you do the 2800 bet. but i think the whole maximizing how much you win is an important factor in the more than 2800 bet
i was discussing the merits of the 2800 wager or not with a friend after the show and we calculated it out. there are 9 scenarios right? so wagering more than 2800 leads to an outright win 4 out of 9 times. However, wagering exactly 2800 leads to an outright win 3 times and a tiebreaker 2 times. Now typically you…
I think i get why it was Clarke though because you cant have one character always make the hardest choices, but still im not sure why it wasn't him
