ugh me too. that may actually be the furthest i have ever made it into a book without finishing

you are reading what i was reading a month or two between the Passage and Seveneves. curious to hear what you think of the ending of Seveneves

you might like the Expanse series, first book is Leviathan Wakes

I am starting Babylon's Ashes tonight. I cannot wait

I do think I'll continue the series, by the end of the book I was totally caught up in it. I will say it ends with hardly anything happening in the one plotline that will be the most prominent in the next book, like that was all elaborate set up so I am kinda annoyed at that

apparently Mistborn was always planned as a trilogy of trilogies but the Wax and Wayne stuff he added in when inspiration struck and he realized he wouldn't be getting to the main second trilogy for awhile

Secret History needs to be read with a close memory of what has happened in the other mistborn books

i think my number is higher than usual but i had a super productive reading time in january and it has slowed down since then

I really like the initial Robot books, I think they are fun little mystery books

yeah seems like this is a week earlier than it should be

I picked up Arcanum Unbounded, a short (ha!) story collection of Brandon Sanderson's cosmere related non-novel length works. I had read a number of the pieces in it before, but there was a new Novella focusing on a side character from the Stormlight series that was pretty fun (and moved some character plot off screen

hey just wanted to let you know that What are you Reading went up today

the S-Mart ending is a million times better than the slept too long ending.

Yeah good for Liv for blaming Gilda and not Major there! you are right that we all too often see the reverse for needless drama on tv.

What really does Liv have to regret lying to Major about? That she has a new boyfriend while they are broken up? Meanwhile Major is out there living a double life. If anything his Max Rager fuckbuddy is the most forgiveable thing he has done (though since this is the CW it wont be treated as such).

Good point about how the show doesn't let its secrets last too long, they tend to reveal them when we want them revealed, but also tend to keep some aspects of them in the shadows. Like no one knows what Max Rager is up to.

Fifty Shades of Grey Matter:

I finally got around to seeing Arrival this weekend. I was very caught off guard by that third act twist, but it made a lot of sense once it happened. Or at least it made emotional sense for the story the movie was telling, not sure if it made logical sense. I really enjoyed it though and the scene with her mapping

actually doesn't 10 have both the main antagonist that it was all along and the third act reveal all rolled up into one?
