Is poor Pussy's wife just barely getting by, because it seems she is getting a lot more money out of Tony than he realized until she came to Carmela. I think she is doing fine, and was trying to get more money through Carmela, rather than going directly through Tony. I mean emotionally yea, but I read that whole

Those are fair points about Tracee and Caitlin, though Caitlin does seem pretty isolated, but I can't tell how much of that is legit or just college freshman anxiety.

Maybe the thing about Tony hitting Ralphie is that it is obvious. Like killing someone is ok, but you have to invent the little excuses like they do with Pussy, or be in a power struggle like with Junior. But hitting a made guy in front of others is just too out in the open?

Another Toothpick:

continued watching the Sopranos for the first time to discuss with Scrawler. I'll post my thoughts below on the four episodes watched this week.

wow that is super obvious ok

what was the clue to DD1? I missed the show last night

does TG Cid count as cheating? because he should. Dude is so overpowered, but also practically necessary if you want to beat the game without spending ages leveling a ton of people up. Instead you just roll in with TG Cid and wreck shit

even more so

I served with schlock, I know schlock, schlock is a good friend of mine. That show is no schlock.

4 it is

haha sounds good. how many for next time?

Joey Pants! Always love me some Joey Pants. Honestly i'm just noticing him, so i haven't formed a full opinion yet, but he seems like a fun new addition

that is a really good question about AJ, can he act or do they only ask him to do all he can do. because yeah he can be hilarious with his delivery.

Oh Janice is most definitely irritating, but there is a bond that she adn Tony have that they can only admit when they know they won't have to deal with each other for a while.

yeah this is why i have kept watching because there is more to it than them hiding the obvious

Thank god I am not alone in my thoughts on melfi here. I mean I had little doubt that you would probably agree on this point, but still I agree that here is where the therapy strains the premise more. And getting to the point as you say, of someone doing the ethical thing against her own self-interest/feelings is

Mr. Ruggerio's Neighborhood:

I started watching Mr. Robot, about halfway through the first season and digging it. the twist seems obvious, but there has to be more to it, and the obviousness of the twist has to be a red herring. there are clues as to that complication i think. just not sure what the extra bit is.

i too bailed, but heard it got a lot better in season 2. now i have to decide whether it is worth trudging back through what i dont remember to get to the improved part
