sounds good. Four for next time it is. I am curious as to whether the show will pick up right where we left off or jump us some time ahead. I can see the latter because it feels like a new status quo has been tentatively established
Melfi is still largely a plot device, but there is a character there too, I just think the former interferes with the latter more often.
I mean it would now be within the realm of belief, where it might not in 1999, but still shocking yeah. (matricide that is).
It really is the stupidest reason to break up with someone ever when you put it that way. "My girlfriend won't stop bragging about me being good at cunnilingus! What a monster!" But yeah those are all good points, there is very much the classic mother, maiden, crone (to borrow from game of thrones) perception of…
I imagine they are full of spoilers so i am staying away. I may go back to them later when I finish
Boca:
Finished off the first season of the Sopranos as part of my first time watch. I'll be discussing it with Scrawler below
I mean duh
i think i finally finally convinced my parents to give it another try since they gave up on it a few episodes into season 1 because they "liked Homeland better" but now they dont remember watching it at all so i am trying again
Also "she stole my heart and my cat"
it is by far his best movie and I will fight anyone who denigrates it
for some reason full frontal aired the episode from last week when i tried to watch last night.
I really liked Calamity and the series around it. because those books were so short i think it allowed sanderson to just dive into the action which is his forte
Read A Song for Arbonne which is my last unread Guy Gavriel Kay novel… for all of about five minutes because he of course just released a new one. So I'll be tackling that soon. Arbonne is an interesting bridge novel where he moves from the stronger fantasy otherworldness of Tigana to what has since become his…
cool can't wait to see how it develops
It is kinda sad how younger Junior seems to be the positive guy in Tony's life, but older Junior is one of his biggest headaches. And yeah Junior's ego at basically just being in the business for so long and still living are warring with resentment at not being greater and from those who take that from him. And yeah…
I remember him mentioning some device but i forgot what, so thanks I will look into finding one of those
It is funny how watching Livia and his father interact, you can realize that a greater portion of Tony's life in the business is shaped by his mother rather than his mobster father.
I like the pen idea, I have plenty of those, so I will start using that when I play along at home (something I already do anyway)
