I read Time2 when it came out and was kinda disappointed in it. Loved the design and some of the jokes (the daily newspaper was named "The Post-Modern") but the characters seemed like repeats of American Flagg! and some of the stories (the person having sex with the…
American Flagg! is not only beautifully designed and drawn, but it is also well written. I don't know what you're looking for thematically, but the stories, plots and characters of the first 12 issues are like a great tv show.
I am an old man and 1983 is when I started getting into comics. I wasn't that interested in superheros, so it was kind of a strange time: because the indy companies had trouble publishing on a consistent schedule, a trip to the comic shop yielded either some incredible treasures or nothing at all.
