Someone explain to me how Zaslav, the CEO of Warner Bros Disc, is not the dumbest “Hey, short-term gains while the long-term advantages of the brand are shot to hell are ‘ha-ha’ worth it” executive of all time. Deliberately shelving an entirely completed flick for the tax write-off...are you effing kidding me? (Batgirl

I think those gauge faces are from Crusin’ USA.

What planet are you from?

They couldn’t even be bothered to make Gladiator specific rear doors for the Gladiator; are they really going to give it the attention it needs to be a Ram/Dodge and not just a slightly different looking Gladiator?  If Gladiators aren’t selling very well, what are they going to do to make the Ram version sell any

PHEV variant please, and also not Gladiator shaped/dimensioned.

Yep, Chicago area resident here, and this is 100% accurate.  Right now, I don’t see a path to living with an EV without a garage and dedicated charger.

I think you misunderstood my point. I’m saying these “charging stations” are NOT a solution. You need to be able to charge where you’re parked for much of the day. Ideally overnight. Yes workplace chargers will also suffice, but not everyone works somewhere that has dedicated parking spots. My whole point was the

I’ve been watching some very old Motorweek shows and they often comments as far back as the 1980s about the ease (or lack) of the use of radio and temperature controls.

This past week, I got a Mustang and an Edge as rentals.

I love EVs and I do think we should work on building up the charging infrastructure to enable a full transition to them, but I do think PHEVs are the way to go for pretty much everyone in the immediate future.

the first year at cota was 175 for GA and it included free parking at the travis county expo center and free shuttles. and i got to see schumacher race.

Don’t know if you know about Kim Illman, his is a pro photographer that follows F1 around. He has a YT channel and had this video. He does say you can find “cheap” rooms on the strip ($1500 for 5 nights). He said room prices are coming down after some sticker shock. He does the most expensive way to see the race and

I’ve been to the USGP several times now, and I think they’ve done as well as could be expected. It’s a real and permanent motorsport venue. However, the Miami and Las Vegas races seem to nail that “Soundstage” comment. Putting up some fake “yachts” in a parking lot to make it “Miami” and then charging $1,000 for the

Yes, PHEV cars make a ton of sense for many Americans, particularly those that have times where long drives are required.  PHEV big rigs make even more sense.  You can be EV for the short haul days and a Hybrid for the long haul days.  You don’t need a different truck for different applications.

Like any jalop, I’ve spent an inordinate amount of time playing around with the configurators, and even in like 2015, Ford’s was always the most annoying. Every individual “option” you want, no matter how trivial, was always behind another like $2,500 in “packages” or reserved for a different bed/cab combination. It

Yup, waaaayyy too much money. I’d love one, even if it’s a lot more vehicle than I need. I feel like electric pickups will be great when they reach price-parity with their gas counterparts, but until then they’re rich people toys.

the number of all-electric F-150 Lightning trucks that the Blue Oval shifted between July and September was down by a massive 45 percent.

Germans come from the Land of Chocolate.

I have a stump on my property and some annoying neighbors on that side.

Hybrids and PHEVs are the perfect machine for RIGHT NOW.  The majority of commuter miles covered by a battery w/ the option of gas for longer trips or the occasional time you can’t charge.  Hybrids for those in apartments of other difficult to charge places.  And like Toyota has been saying for years now, 1 BEV or 100
