I’m looking forward to the hybrid version of the Tacoma coming out. That new powertrain along with all the other updates they’ve got coming in ‘24 it looks like it’ll continue to dominate the segment.

Elon can keep his space triangle. If I’m buying a BEV truck it’ll be a Ford or a Rivian.
Do they have pricing yet for this thing? This seems like a better answer than a full on BEV in my opinion. Not sure on the range 92kWh gets you but a PHEV truck with about 40 miles of range would be ideal for almost everybody that drives a 1/2 ton truck.
Project Farm is awesome, small nitpick though, he posts videos every Sunday around 1 central. His tests are perfect but he’s always pretty up front about his methods and reasoning. If you are looking to make a sort of significant purchase or looking into things like the best oils or greases he’s probably tested it.
If it’s not a Corvette then it has to be a V6 Mustang Convertible. One that you can’t tell if they own it or if they picked it up at the Hertz rental counter.
Maybe they should start turning parking meters into 115VAC charging points.
Radio volume and HVAC temp should be physical knobs. Trying to hit a touch screen when you’re bouncing down a road to adjust that stuff is effing stupid.
If they were interested in selling the Ranger we’d be getting the PHEV version or at least a hybrid version.
I’m of the opinion Netflix has been a blessing and a curse for American F1 fans. We have 2 more races which is great in theory but..... the cost has gotten out of control. I did COTA with my wife in 2016, the Taylor Swift concert year and a 3 day General Admission Pass was $150. I had an absolute blast, and the wife…
Prices are coming down on the lightning. Around here you can find a Lariat package one for about $73k and you compare that to the hybrid Lariat which is about $67k. I’m pretty sure my next truck is going to be the hybrid but if they price is within a couple thousand then it’s going to make me think a little harder…
I really want a battery powered saw but I can’t make up my mind on if I want to go with a Milwaukee since I’m all in on M18 tools at home or a Stihl since every gas saw I’ve ever bought has been a Stihl and my grandpa who was a logger for a good 30 years wouldn’t buy any other brand of saw.
You’re mostly right. For 95% of homeowners out there battery powered stuff is plenty good. If you’re somebody who still heats with a wood burner, it’s going to be hard to replace your chainsaw for a battery one.
Closest one to me is about 4 hours away. I’m really surprised it’s not further than that.
If they’re anything like the housekeeping contractors I’ve seen in the offices I’ve worked at they’re probably way to stoned to even know they hit someone or they just though it’d be hilarious to run someone over.
I’d cast a vote for a good cordless impact. Preferably one of the mid torque ones that have about 600ish ugga duggas.
On the flip side I work in the office side of a UAW shop and every single toolbox on the shop floor has a Trump sticker of some sort. He could have easily came to this non automotive shop for his UAW fix and got his knob slobbered on.
Look John Rambo didn’t kick commie ass in Afghanistan for me to have to put up with your union crap.
Bingo. Sure they get paid a lot of money, probably too much but lets not pretend like if you just stop paying them a dime it’ll make any difference to the blue collar worker. It sure makes a good headline though doesn’t it.
I was in Germany 6ish years ago for work and their union over there was in the middle of it’s negotiating. I think they currently have a 36hr work week or something like that. They were trying to get a 29hr work week at the time. The whole thing is bonkers to me. Then again the way I look at it the company is trying…
