To be fair, this hysterical Islamaphobia isn’t restricted to Christians. There are plenty of people that have never set foot in a place of worship that have been swept up in the “close the borders, bug the mosques” rhetoric being pushed by certain orange gas bags.

Left Shark embodied the fuck upness in us all, but also the determination to keep going that we wish we had.

Of course not. Trump would make them go buy their own pads. And they’ll be great pads. He has great friends that tell him this.

They’ve been bought out and silenced by the crane claw industry.

It doesn’t matter which to a conspiracy theorist.

It still saddens me deeply how this elf on the shelf bullshit took off in America, and yet we’re still left with no Krampus.

You make a good point. Actually, I’ve probably mistated my frustration by saying random battles (though randomness can provide its own source of frustration). It’s definitely the repetition of, for instance, grinding through dozens of battles spamming the same spell for a one turn victory, earning enough XP in order

I’m still down with turn-based combat. There have been some games in the intervening years, like Bravel Default and Radiant Historia, that have added interesting twists on the formula. Random encounters though... they can go to hell.

When I saw the texture differences in MH4U it convinced me to make the switch. Then I was pleasantly surprised with how well the 3d worked in comparison to the original 3DS. I even went back to some old games just to marvel at it.

You’re either pro-skub or anti-skub. There is no skub-ambivalent.

I was planning on boycotting it on that’s grounds that it looks really, really fucking stupid.

Organ donation all the way. But before that point, there’s a lot of fighting back the bullshit myths that persist around it. (No, Johnny, the EMTs aren’t going to let you die after checking your driver’s license/I.D. card.)

I highly recommend scratching off the “T”.

Likewise. I quickly grow tired of the assault of Christmas music, movies, and events. I need a refuge from all the glitter and merriment.

But this is the perfect holiday advertising. You look at it and think “Jesus Christ...”

I’m glad you did it. I couldn’t restrain myself much longer.

I think there’s a pretty big gap that opened with the creation of youtube, Facebook, Twitter, and their ilk; most of which have been around for a little more than a decade. I’d say there’s a fairly marked difference between the person going through adolescence prior to 2004-2007 (when most social media sprang forth)

That was my problem with the original reveal. Jean just flat out tells him what he is and when he questions if he might be bisexual she shoots that down. It’s kind of annoying that Jean still has any part in this conversation when it should just be Bobby talking to Bobby.

I think it was, maybe, the Hallmark channel that had already begun its Christmas movie marathon on Halloween. It’s sacrilege.

Can you quote were I said their ridicule made him do anything? I felt I made it pretty clear that my assessment is that he was mentally unstable before he met these people, and his actions are a manifestation of that pre-existing condition. And as I’ve said elsewhere, it doesn’t excuse his actions.
