It's almost entirely the price of entry and the slew of other games coming in the near future. I suppose I've also been burned by other games this fall I blindly bought. I'm looking at you Rage and Dead Island.

I've been debating picking up Dark Souls but I don't know much about it. Yes, I know it's hard but that's the bulk of my knowledge, I've watched some gameplay but I'm still not sold.

I'm finding the usual Call of Duty fans aren't looking forward to this installment. In fact, I've had more then a few dedicated fans ask me about Battlefield 3.

But the only point you presented was length of the DLC.

That wasn't there fault, there was a shortage of Collectors Editions.

10-12 is the longer then most retail games.

For 5-6 hours I'm fine with the price.
