Yay, finally. Never understood why that guy is so revered. Majority of his stuff is cheap crap.

Yup. That was one a big pile of nothing. The one before it is pretty decent though.
Isn’t all of internet, basically?
It’s... sort of building its voice. Every next episode is better than the previous one so far. It’s easy to dismiss it as “haha, aren’t hicks stupid”, but it’s actually sympathetic to its characters, and shows that there are characters of very different kinds in that world. Honestly, I think it can be good.
I liked this movie a lot. It’s brilliantly animated, and with its sheer beauty manages to overcome its tired E.T.-esque storyline.
And the top stories from the other sites are gone from the left side of the screen, too. What even is the purpose of that left side?
I thought this was started to gel nicely after a couple very shaky episodes. The third one was pretty good. The cast works pretty well, and the jokes became funnier.
Wasn’t making that point at all.
Sorta related, but this came to my mind today.
Hmm. I can watch it in Russia. Coincidence?..
...And then the murders began...
It’s not like this is something completely new for Linklater. It’s just eight years longer.
I feel bad for your attention span. Here, short enough for you?
You know, I wish they could actually engage. I wish they could talk about actual merits of comedy when they’re defending it. I wish they told us what exactly is funny about it instead of going “LOOK AT THIS” as if it’s self-explanatory. Comedy is subjective, of course, but it’s definitely a subject to analysis. It has…
Why, yes, it is. Norm Macdonald is a famous person. So whatever crap he spits, he does it from a platform that is granted to him by his celebrity. This idea that you can separate your personal life from your public life when you’re famous is, sadly, flawed, because no one’s gonna let you, not your followers and not…
Thing is, the words you are using as examples lost their original meanings. There’s no chance I’m gonna use “awful” in any other sense than something being “horrible” - unless it’s “awfully nice” or something, which does include a context clue to discern its meaning.
Look at you all outraged at the outrage machine.
Well, ok, so why introducing new terms? And if you call yourself bisexual meaning you’re attracted to just two genders, do you now need to note it when using the word?
As a person who formerly identified as bisexual and currently identifies as pansexual (and also sort of identifies as a linguist), I’m honestly baffled that the definition of bisexuality isn’t limited to the two. Because, damn it, “bi” means two. You can’t change the usage of an existing term just because the…
It’s weird, but the first time I heard him and of him was on the Bloodhound Gang album.
