SNL, just hire Brennan Lee Mulligan from CollegeHumor. He’s great and underused there.

Oh, that damn childish mentality. “You can’t say that word” - “But now I REEEEEEALLY wanna say it”. It’s such basic psychology, it still amazes me that some people can’t figure it out about themselves. I mean, sure, yeah, it’s an easy high, doing something you were told you can’t and getting away with it, but... I…
Pick one: you’re either him (new account, no other posts) or you’re such a huge fan of a shitty comic who was barely known until now you come here to save your hero from meanies. Honestly, the first one would be better.
Do you want The Klan? Because that’s how you get The Klan.
You’re as dumb as that broomstick that you put in your ass “by accident”.
In early 00's Heaven was a halfpipe.
Whoa. How long ago has he filmed On Becoming a God that he got so much thinner in between that and doing this interview? It took me a second to accept that, yes, this is Mel Rodriguez, not a Mel Rodriguez impersonator not really doing a good job.
I think BoJack is slowly fading out, what with Netflix being dicks to its creators and cancelling Tuca and Bertie. There were also some troubles with animators not getting fair treatment which led to unionizing. (I found the link but honestly was too lazy to re-read the story.)
Yes, you can depict mass shootings. No, you can’t make the shooters the protagonists. This reads like they would be protagonists. If not, fine. But this reads like it.
And at least a few others. It also has plenty queer characters. Considering the ‘verse is run by Berlanti, it’s no wonder that this particular corner of superhero genre is an exception to this annoying rule. It has a trans superhero for god’s sake. And it’s doing pretty good for itself! So fuck you, Marvel.
Still better than A to V.
I think the problem with this whole discussion is the lack of definition (or possibility of such) of the word “love”. My annoyance with the trivial ending of the movie stems from their insistence that sex necessarily leads to this “classic”, “romantic” love that is so fetishized and idolized in society.
I’m sorry... “agonizing”? Show me the agony, please. The fact that I think about that stuff and can write three paragraphs on the subject doesn’t mean that I torture myself over it. But thanks for your concern and unwelcome opinion about my mental health. I guess.
It’s the only thing that happens. And considering the movie seemingly attempted to state that, it was disappointing.
Maybe he just found out that Bruce Willis was dead at the end of Sixth Sense.
I had three very painful experiences of distancing myself from formerly favorite TV shows in recent years. One being Friends with it’s endless parade of gay panic jokes among other many, many awful things (I used to be a Chandler, and now I don’t like Chandler), another - Scrubs, which presented the idea of abusive…
I enjoyed No Strings Attached quite a lot back then, at least until its last third.
Whoa. Congrats on thinking mighty highly of yourself.
So, wait, your example of objective qualities are “good” and “bad”? They’re based on the same personal perception informed by experience. Like, you go study movie criticism so your “goods” and “bads” don’t just hang in the air, but they’re still subjective. Otherwise, every score at RT would be 100 or 0. Still…
Wait, what?
