Sooooo... I looked up the guy who wrote and directed Dark Phoenix. Considering he already wrote that story in The Last Stand and he also wrote Apocalypse and the most recent Fantastic Four... And it’s his directorial debut after fifteen years of bad scripts and mostly producing. No chance it’s gonna be good, right?

Do I need to spell it out for you? In Russia, there’s no mainstream feminist movement. Women are expected to be traditionally feminine, i.e. makeup and jewelry.

Think it’s called ChandlerBing.

I do enjoy them throwing in pop culture references for no reason whatsoever, like with the Antichrist almost being named Damien, next episode starting with the words “captain’s log” and this one throwing in an Indiana Jones reference for the hell of it. Gaiman is a very inconsistent TV writer, who often doesn’t get

“I Want Love” came out in 2001.

It’s not “missing”. It’s added. Because in Russia women can’t not wear earrings and makeup.

On a similar maddeningly sad note, find the differences between the Russian and original poster for Vita & Virginia.

Yeah. This has been all over Russian blogs and all places where we still practice freedom of speech. It fucking sucks. Just endless fucking godawful shame.

The problem is you’re from either of the two states.

Donny Osmond had a top 10 hit in the UK as recently as 2004.

What’s wrong with me if I read that and thought “I should try that”?

Neil Gaiman is not a screenwriter. He should stop playacting as one, ruining his own adaptations. Yes, he wrote that one good Doctor Who script. Maybe then, write for others?

I actually mostly enjoyed it. It had a stellar cast, they didn’t rely on insult comedy as much as many other multicam shows do, they actually tried to create characters. Not all jokes landed, but I felt it had potential, in the same way Undateable always brimmed with it, although that show was always considerably

Funny you said “delete and dismiss”. You do realize it’s the same thing, right? You “delete” my comment by clicking on dismiss button. And it’s only “deleted” in terms of you not seeing it anymore.

The sad thing is, the show is more relevant that it was two years ago, when everyone said “stop comparing real life to Gilead, it’ll never happen”. And this is the time they’re half-assing it. Shame.

Um. Sorry for not enjoying the same show you enjoy.

You do realize they could’ve done the epilogue on the show as well? It’s not like they had to explain and detail”.

Well, they fucked it up even more. Should’ve stopped after season one. Or maybe after the first three episodes. Remember those? The one-two-three punch that Hulu dropped on the same day two years ago? Those were spectacular.

I’m not that well-versed in OutKast’s catalogue so my obvious choice here is“Ms. Jackson”. There’s something very special about his performance in it. And the whole “forever-ever..?” bit is just timeless.

I know this one.
