Tom King reviving Kite man first as a one page joke, then a recurring character and then finally making him an actual character was masterful.

The man was going through hell throughout both sets of justice league shoots. Even in the Snyder footage, Affleck just looks like he wants to leave. Considering half his dialogue is variations on “mother box” I have zero surprise that he left the role immediately after
I think the justice league reshoots were just a perfect storm of bullshit. They had no time to adjust things, and Whedon was never going to let it happen. So yeah, I don't really feel bad if Fisher was ignored by his director, because they were trying to race that Frankenstein movie out on an absurd deadline.
From memory, Weiner didn’t even think that Peggy and that guy she worked with (I forget his name) would ever be a couple. Despite them having great chemistry for four seasons and being a beloved fan favourite pairing. In the series finale, Weiner finally saw that and let them hook up. So yeah, Weiner was an auteur,…
Like a lot of the recent DC movies, removing any shared universe and freeing creatives to go completely wildly has been a great decision. Watchmen and doom patrol are masterpieces and peacemaker is off to a perfect start.
James gunn is famously the first director to cast someone they’re dating. Because that has never happened before now.
I feel like peacemaker is the perfect role for Cena. The character is simultaneously ridiculous, pathetic and menacing.
The stone faced expressions everyone has during the opening is the funniest part. The whole opening is just a masterpiece of glorious insanity.
I can barely keep up with shows I love. I can’t really imagine sticking with stuff you dislike. House of cards is probably the only one I stuck with, and even that was because Netflix dropped a season in one hit, so I could blaze through it within a few days in the background.
I like to think Keaton is too cool, too important and too old to go through the stupid shell game of denying he’ll be in a movie. Plus the flash movie stars Ezra Miller. It needs all the Keaton in the marketing it can get.
They’re both in it. Affleck is there to get a proper goodbye and he’s said he enjoyed making the flash a lot. Keaton is sticking around for a bit after the flash to train batgirl for her HBO Max exclusive movie.
He's in the flash movie as his final goodbye.
I was surprised how much I loved luca. The simpleness of it, mixed with the fun performances and gorgeous animation really clicked with me.
I was being polite when I speculated his probably nice. At least now I can 100% hate his character without needing to be polite.
I feel like they would have immediately announced him back with that teaser at the end of flux if he was in it.
Words cannot express how delighted I am to see amazing spider-man ranked dead last. For me that’s the only one I hate, for a simple reason, because it’s boring mediocrity. It’s not a bad movie, it’s just crushingly dull to rewatch. There are worse movies, but something like amazing spider-man 2 has flashes of gleeful…
The “why now?” is immediately covered in the Hollywood reporter article: Chris Noth being front and centre with the sex and the city reboot brought it all up again for the victims.
Him brandishing a butter knife was perfect. He briefly looks threatening, but no, it’s not a real knife.
I think Tom helps Logan, because Logan shows at least a minor level of respect for Tom now. That's all Tom wanted. Why should he stick by Shiv? The woman who openly hates him? Who delights in telling him that at their most intimate moments? Logan is the devil, but at least the devil genuinely pats Tom on the shoulder…
