Everyone is saying it's Kris Marshall. Which would be one of the most boring choices ever made when it comes to casting The Doctor.

Same here. I had real doubts when Capaldi was cast but two seasons and one episode later…. I absolutely LOVE his Doctor. His amazing ability with monologues, his crazy smile, his arc from cold-hearted strategist to aging rock star to the Professor who'll offer a free education to someone he believes deserves it….…
I only recently discovered that episode on Youtube and thoroughly agree.
Noel Fielding?! "You know who would be perfect to present a quaint little show about baking cakes? Mr Russell Brand-lite. PERFECT."
My other tab is already open searching to see if this is playing anywhere near to me, so congratulations on selling me on a movie I'd barely heard of until now.
At least one chair joke.
I don't know many people who watch this show and, when I try to introduce them to it, I'm usually told that the person watched an episode or two during the first season and thought it was awful.
I'd want his first line, upon entering a scene and looking around in confusion, to be: "This is not Penny's boat, is it?"
I read an interview with one British actress who tried to break Hollywood and failed, and she said that casting agents in the U.S aren't really interested unless you have either "Game Of Thrones" or "Downton Abbey" on your resume.
Agreed. I'd happily watch a Thelma and Louise-style spin-off starring those two.
You're wackier, Mr Wrong!
EVIL ALIEN: "Death to all humans!"
IZZARD-DOC: "Death?"
EVIL ALIEN: "Yes…."
IZZARD-DOC: "Or….cake?" *Produces a sponge cake on a plate from one of his coat pockets*
EVIL ALIEN: "………?"
Despite loving Angel and BTVS, I could never get into this show. I don't think I even made it to the end of the pilot. I guess it must have gotten better to have survived this long but, boy, was that first episode a real stinker.
I can only think of two types of people who wouldn't eat this. People who are abstaining from eating, or people who have nothing but anger and hatred for Vin Diesel.
I'm utterly ensorcelled by your use of the word "ensorcelled", and have vowed to use it as much as possible today.
It's a testament to Stevens that, although David has largely been a figure of mystery throughout the season (we may have gradually gotten to know him over the episodes but a lot of his background has intentionally been held back from both the other characters and the audience) and that he's even spent some of that…
I stopped watching season 2 of The Flash because it felt like a rehashed version of the first season but with a less interesting villain. It didn't help that everyone seemed like they were about to burst into tears or that half of their problems were caused because nobody trusted each other with secrets. I don't know…
I'm going to miss Evil Rip just because Arthur Darvill played that part so well, and it seemed like the writers were having real fun with it. That said, Darvill's absence from a lot of this season coupled with some great examples of his range, have made me appreciate his Rip Hunter a lot more. I hope they continue to…
One of my favorite Who episodes!
I want a scene where Gideon complains because Constantine keeps stubbing out his cigarettes on her.
