Ah, ok. Thanks.
Ah, ok. Thanks.
He should be a MUCH bigger star than he is.
God, now I want a show with Menzies and Green as leads. I'd watch that, no matter what the topic.
The fruit?
I hadn't read about the AV Club narrowing its coverage and am really sad to hear that it won't be covering this show in the future. I've always come here first to see what others have thought about the episode. I guess, much like Black Sails, I'm going to have to start going to IGN for that. Damn.
I'm sorry but I'm all out of Witchy points now. You should have got here earlier!
I was not expecting this to be the end of Penny Dreadful and so this has hit me pretty hard. For a show that revolved around death, this series finale is perhaps perfect in that regard; its sudden, unexpected departure leaves unanswered questions, a sadness that you didn't perhaps appreciate it more when it was still…
Almost as funny as Ola Jordan, who moved to the UK from Poland and found great success as a dancer (appearing on several television shows), only to recently declare that there are too many Polish people in England and that immigration is a real problem.
Good call! I forgot about James Marsters.
There was a time when I could spot Americans trying to do British accents but that time has long passed. There are some seriously chameleon-like American actors out there now. (I spent almost three seasons of Strike Back assuming Philip Winchester was British, for example. i was completely blown away when I finally…

I've been told that the character of Justine is from a novel written by the Marqis De Sade, but am at work and am afraid to Google this. Can someone else research this for me? Thanks!
I love some of the phrases he puts into the characters' mouths. My favorite was a few episodes back where Frankenstein said something along the lines of "If you fear the dream, do not lay down for the sleep, dear boy" to Jekyll.
It helps that Christian Camargo has charm to spare in that role. Even though I know he's Dracula, I'd still go to one of his lectures.
I predict the attempt to inject Lily won't go so well next week and it'll be Jekyll who ends up on the end of the needle.
His accent is so good that it freaks me out when I hear him speaking in his normal accent now.
I don't particularly mind when the show focuses (temporarily) on characters other than Claire, as I enjoy all of the characters on the show; particularly Jamie and Fergus. I also have a weird love him-hate him relationship with Dougal.
Huh?
Apparently if you press X,Y,B,X,Y,B and then push → ← ↑ whilst he's on the screen, the NPCs around him will stab him in the back and you'll win the game.
