hmmmm...have you actually been on the internet?

my wife’s e91 pushing 140k miles hiding behind my 2’er daily driver...

*theats

have you been in a ski shop or on the slopes lately?  all the garish 80s colors have returned for your viewing pleasure!

i believe i started owning teal / turquoise-colored apparel and gear around ‘86 through maybe ‘91. once nirvana and pearl jam hit that charts those colors were pretty much history.

didnt realize the honorable ocasio-cortez is a wannabe jalop!

as a child of the 80s, whose first cars was a ‘79 celica GT, i coveted both the ‘86 supra (MK III) and the ‘86 testarossa — and the 49-year-old-me-today, would absolutely take the testarossa 10x out of 10 over the MK IV supra for the same price today.

it’s funny because it’s true.

the performance on the base 2-series...current model is the 230i...might actually surprise you...

yeah...the player-rooting approach is what i did for the first couple years when i started watching with my son...he followed all of his favorite FIFA players. that approach is fun, but i’m too much of a traditionalist and am just wired to “root for laundry”. it’s noot like i have time to watch 6 matches per week, so

so much this. i explicitly jumped into euro-soccer fandom about 5 years ago as a spurs fan because i wanted to root against chelsea and arsenal!  i started following dortmund solely because of pulisic...and now?  *sigh*

i *just* saw one of these yesterday and thought “damn that car has aged well”. just dont understand why ford couldnt figure out how to integrate some of the mustang’s sportier underpinnings into a luxury sedan.

i kinda agree with this take. as the owner of a now quintessential “hairdresser’s car” in an E89, i skipped right over the E85 based completely on looks. i really wanted a low mileage Z3M but prices had already gotten crazy on them 3 years ago.

there’s a lot of shit to throw at new bimmers, but i’m not sure the shot at “driving dynamics” is accurate for this model (or any of the new bimmer models coming out next year). based on all the industry reviews that have been published, BMW has gotten a lot right with this car.

yep....annapolis, MD here...and there are tons of bimmer wagons (including my wife’s E91).

i currently own two E9X 3-series now, and previously owned 2 others (E30 and E36). i passed over 100K miles on 3 of those cars. i also daily drive a 2-series to the tuned of 25Kmiles / year. i’ve never experienced any of the excessive maintenance costs that people bitch about on this site.

i currently own 4 post-2006 bimmers, including an ‘06 E90 sedan (only 38k miles) and ‘09 E91 wagon (over 130K miles), and other than a couple of water pumps and coil packs, these cars have been bulletproof.

spot-on about the 80s. i’ve tried to get my kids (17 & 19 yrs old) to watch classic 80s flicks and they just laugh at their corniness. dont get me wrong...the all-time classics stand up...but anything outside the top 20-25 are just goofy as fuck. i mean, were saxophones REALLY that popular in the 80s? i think i would

the OG open pit sauce (blue label) is legit great. i may be completely biased because i grew up (child of the 70s/80s) eating it on everything. i thought all BBQ sauce had a vinegary bite and when i first tried McDs BBQ sauce with chicken nuggets as a kid, i remember thinking how grossly sweet it tasted.

incredibly sad. spongebob was pretty much the ONLY kids’ show that i watched and enjoyed with my kids (now 17 & 19 years old) from the time that they were born!
