Good, bad or indifferent: it is an Alien film (regardless of text, context and subtext) and it is being directed by Ridley Scott and, last, the new promo trailer confirmed it carries an R rating.

For a while, I had all of the Fleming novels, and was reading The Man With The Golden Gun when the film came out.
