Yep. Replaced my Honda CBR600F2 with a Yamaha WaveRaider 1100 back in ‘95. Ended up selling the 1100 a few years later due to the lack of nearby lakes in So Cal. :-(
I rode for just 6 months and had a number of close calls, mostly from other people who didn’t see me. But the bottom line is that with motorcycles you usually get one chance and that’s it and in many cases you will either get seriously injured or killed. I quit riding after the last close call
Are jew sedious???

Consumers can’t get enough of them nowadays, and so manufacturers are appeasing them by churning out more and more, as if gas is going to remain in the mid $2 range in perpetuity. Except, one day—I’m very certain of this—gas will rise, and people will realize they’re getting screwed by having a massive roving SUV…
So did I until I realized that my local WalMart is always out of stock on tons of common items — all the time!
I had a totally different experience. Bought new front Centric rotors from RockAuto for my E46 M3. Steering then jiggled every time I braked. Turned out to be a warped rotor. They sent me a new set and I sent back the old. Hassle-free and no charge.
I just had two heavy rotors (rears for X5) shipped for around $10. Unreal!
That’s odd. I use them all the time for things like brake pads and rotors. Just bought a rear set for my X5 a few months ago. Got them in 2 days and shipping was a very reasonable $10 for something that weighed like 50 lbs. Maybe it’s because I’m in So Cal and they have a warehouse nearby?
He beat me to it. Been thinking about doing just that for years.
Is that front grille mandatory?
Right. They’re better. :-)
Too bad the price of diesel is now $3.79/gallon here in parts of So Cal. We don’t drive our 2011 X5 35d as much now.
Put 4-5 people in each. Then drive more than a few miles.
