Come to think of it, another episode did a side story on how the leather is created from cowhides. I almost threw up in my mouth when I saw the amount of toxic chemicals, dies, etc. used for stripping off the hair and “remaining tissue”.

My E92 had “Dakota leather” while my E46 had “Nappa leather”. The latter felt like a supple, well-worn baseball mitt. That said, the MB-Tex + Alcantara is great on my 4YO MBZ. No more sweaty leather seats, and no more wear spots on the side bolsters from entering/existing the vehicle.

My BMW E46, E92, and E70 all show/showed wear on the side bolster (from rubbing against it while entering/exiting vehicle). The MB W204, on the other hand, shows nothing. In fact, I specifically sought it out when I was shopping C63's.

My last 3 BMWs had leather — nice but requires a good amount of work cleaning and conditioning. Just got a MB with MB-Tex and Alcantara. The MB-Tex looks and feels like leather (to me) and won’t fade, wear, or crack like leather. Good enough for me!

Right! There’s a reason why I can type on a physical keyboard with physical buttons (keys) without looking, but on a smartphone or tablet with an on-screen keyboard, I have to look at what I’m typing.

Practically the same as the one I bought on Amazon for half the price. Entertains the cats, but it’s tougher to control than you might think due to its size.

Will never happen. People are too cheap. Look at the lines on Free Pancakes Day at ihop. People would rather wait in long lines for free pancakes instead of paying a few bucks with no line, like every other day.
