Plus, at the right (wrong) angle, you get reflections from the sun coming through the windshield. I get blinded from the glossy wood trim in my BMW all the time. Makes me appreciate the brushed aluminum trim I had on my prior bimmer.

Disassembling a 2006 MINI Cooper to change the bushings only to realize that I didn’t have, but needed, an impact wrench to finish the job. Gave up and re-assembled everything. Never did change them. Sold the car later.
