That's fine.
I mean, considering that I live below the poverty line on an income that changes drastically week-to-week, my personal financial situation is definitely insecure, but it's much more likely that I was simply trying to put a new twist on an old joke.
Curious, considering many of the boner-inducing Italian sports cars from the 50's and 60's were roadsters. Oh yeah, include the C2 and C3 Vettes too.
Sounds like you're insecure about your personal financial situation.
Go faster without a roof over your head?
lol at all these comments. Cause the world's never seen a high performance convertible before...
So it's ok if the 650S comes as a convertible but not this? Come on people. Look I get it the Z06 is supposed to be the "track" Corvette, but if this doesnt take anything away from it(I think I read somewhere that GM engineers said the new Z06 with the top off is STIFFER than the C6 Z) whats the problem? Listening to…
"Convertibles are for hair stylists." Says jalopnik blogger who probably hasn't showered today and makes less than $30k a year.
Why? If the ZF 8-speed used in the F-Type is any indication, they can be quite good when calibrated correctly. I like manual transmissions as much as the next guy but to say this transmission will be a "shit sandwich" just because it's an automatic is a bit silly. Also, the word is spelled "manuals".
Are you sure it wasn't a Grand Sport? They were essentially Z06 bodies with the LS3 motor.
kind of surprised there is a demand for this , guess the 427 sold pretty well. Though last time they did this they called it by a different name not to piss off the purist, guess they don't really give a fuck anymore lol.
Purists be damned...I'm in favor of anything that helps GM make more profit from the Corvette to ensure that there will be a C8, C9, etc...
I feel like hair stylists hate convertibles?
This pleases me greatly
There would have been a way to save the Z06, make the Z07 Aero kit option manual, hardtop only. now you have a high power convertible, AND a focued track day weapon. without having to change any tooling.
i could honestly care less what badge they put on it. i just like the direction they are taking this car. glad the US isn't giving up on making road jets any time soon.
