this just might be my favorite jalopnik comment ever.

most forgot about it because its not really a model, its merely a "track-pack", yet i believe it was faster around quite a few racetracks than the BOSS 302, while costing $5k-$7k less

word on the street is that the GT500 gets its ass handed to on the track because its brakes wont last more than 2 laps.

you forget that the SS1LE is already faster than the Boss 302...

um, isnt the SS 1LE already better than the boss 302? the z28 will smoke it.

So u expect them to make them almost completely identical to the 69? And if anything thr acura has headlightts that look like the camaros, since chevy did it first in 69

Theyre actually 69 camaro tail lights. Get educated or gtfo

Lol an elise will barely keep up witha v6 camaro in the straights

yeah but photos just leaked of a supercharged v8 wearing the corvette badge, which means that for some reason the Z06 will most likely be supercharged

and the award for most original comment of the year goes to:

You are experiencing side effects that are common for people who are shocked that the Stingray is more awesome than their favorite car. Oh, and other than looks, which are subjective,(you are certainly in the minority) there is just about nothing that you can really criticize.....

I agree completely with what your logic, but keep in mind that they list the 911 C4S as doing 60 in 4.3, and in reality it does 3.9-4.0, so maybe they are underrating cars just for the hell of it. and btw, i was referring to the 997 turbo s, not the 991. the 997 turbo s was listed at doing 3.2 or 3.3 back in '08,

impressive. I stand corrected. im surprised nissan didnt put this on an official press release because its not on wikipedia, which is surprisingly reliable for automotive stats

c63 because v8

are you suuuuuuuuuure? maybe you arent using the USA site because im looking at "918 spyder weissach package" and it says 2.7. either that or im doing something wrong...

i think its funny that the GTR is dubbed the bartgain, when it costs more to maintain than the 911

a base GTR does 0-60 in around 2.8 seconds. the 918 is listed on Porsche's website as doing 2.7. However, Porsche listed the 997 turbo s as doing 3.2, and the Turbo S actually did a 2.7. Im not saying that that means the 918 is gonna do 60 in 2.2 seconds, but my point is that porsche CLEARLY under rates their cars,

theres no way that the GTR is gonna do a sub 7 minute lap time. And, correct me if im wrong, but the GTR's 7:19 time is NOT official and was NOT set by Nissan.

We can at least try to argue the LS7 best V8 ever...
