If I had to pay for it, I would. But seeing a Twingo makes me a little bit happier than I was before, whereas seeing a post-2000 Ferrari generally jus makes me mildly uneasy.

I have worked as a private chefs, and both stoves have their advantages. If I am making mashed potatoes or oatmeal, the low, even heat capabilities of an electric stove are superior. If I am using a wok or scorching an eggplant, an open flame is an absolute must (or when the power is down).

I, too, am in camp 3 - the problem is that the closer I get to buying an EV, the more driver assist-type garbage the producers are packing into their cars, thus keeping me away. Not to mention biometric locks and other failure points.

How much of a convenience is it to get into and start your car with biometric keys (none, I presume)? When does that possible benefit outweigh having to melt ice off your car with your bare hands even once?

Nice plug... I have been lowkey planning on getting an Ioniq as a daily once my old cars all stop working at the same time - but if I have to have this system I will stay far away from Hyundai dealerships.

Good research.

Cobée doesn’t sell any vehicles in the US, which is a global outlier in almost every way. But even here, some SUVs and crossovers look like station wagons or hatchbacks (like the current Ford Explorer), with only some cladding and often optional 4WD to set them apart.

Minivans come in all sizes; the Sienna has never been sold in Europe because it is absurdly large. The Sienta seems reasonable, though.

Sadly it’s unavoidable because of the backup camera requirement. In other countries, low-end cars only have a well-designed dock rather than a screen - which makes so much sense it hurts. Let me use my phone, so that I don’t have to learn another interface, and so that I don’t have to deal with electronics which will

If they had washed it and waited with photographing it until the golden hour, we would be all over it.

They are still generally smaller. You don’t see Hummer EVs a lot (and if you did see one, you would notice it towering above the houses).

I am not in the market for a new car, but if I was I would be willing to pay extra to avoid adaptive cruise and other “assistive” features (yes, I have driven with them). Perhaps Porsche and BMW buyers feel similarly?

I wish I could vote for a party or live in a state which allows me two things:

This is why the ability to read people’s minds would be the worst super power.

I was just sitting here imagining being called either, and yes, “asshole” one can just brush off but the thought of being called a “creep” is uncomfortable.

Bwahahahaha

We may have to resort to ~*means*~, we just need a couple more million people on our side. :)

And what about those who insure hot tub manufacturers?

Good point - even if you somehow agreed with this ruling, think of the possible implications. This slope is slipperier than a vinyl rear seat at Makeout Point.

I’m kinda surprised I haven’t read the words “LS swap” like ten times by now.
