Word. But this requires planning roads that promote flow.

This is the worst take today. Or maybe you forgot the /s tag?

45,000 + 5,000 = 50,000. Otherwise, sure.

Depends on whether the edges are folds or fillets, too. Volvo clearly honed the 850's shape to make it work better, whereas Tesla seems to be stuck with the Cybertruck’s design now, for better or for worse.

They were exaggerating to make a point.

I am so used to “ducking” standing in for the f-word that I couldn’t quite understand your comment until the third reading. Censorship, damaging my brain...

My favorite is the guy who starts by seemingly trying to get beneath the boat and then climbs back up on it, just as the bikini’d sailor with more smarts abandons ship.

Well, most Golfs sold in Europe have between 90 and 150hp. The 190hp-plus models are generally rare. You probably wouldn’t have gone for the Alltrack since it uses 30 percent more fuel and is taxed considerably higher due to the CO2 emissions.

For sure, but usually with like 120hp. Probably only marginally lighter, though, due to the general bloating of cars.

But it will still be behemoths. Maybe just 7000-lb behemoths, but not much better.

Outside of the US, there are plenty of reasonable cars that don’t; if the US didn’t have such cheap gas then VW would have offered you something smaller. And if everyone drove smaller cars they would a) have more fun and b) save gas and c) remain safe.

I loved riding a bicycle in Berlin and NYC is actually not bad (excluding the Bronx and Staten Island). Long Island isn’t too bad either - almost all of the drivers in NYC are the people who commute from Long Island, so they are generally aware of bicycles.

At least cruising through a stoplight gives me a half a block with no cars to contend with. Not following the exact same flow as cars generally feels safer overall, although this does depend on the rhythm of the road in question.

This is the wisest decision I have seen since the elimination of the time change. Pedestrians jaywalk, cars generally speed, and bicyclists should not have to stop when it isn’t necessary. By no means should we buzz pedestrians in crosswalks or cause anyone driving on a green to brake.

Counterpoint: Dickens’ comments about debt and spending truly helped me in life, and it was not the only thing I gained from reading novels:

Worst is generally the first Japanese GTi competitors from the early 1980s, like the Mirage/Colt Turbo, Nissan Cherry Turbo. Much more power but absolute garbage driving experience and usually wildly undertired as well.

I would love an MG Metro Turbo - 9.9 seconds in a car not much bigger than the original Mini probably feels hella fast. The worst thing about it is that it had a four-speed gearbox due to British Leyland (or whatever they were called that year) not having any money.

Well done.

I have encountered about a half dozen SZ and RZ over the years, and every one of them has looked brand new. Amazing that someone actually used theirs to the point that it needed work.

It’s funny how many free market fans do not understand the basic workings of the marketplace.
