I have a long running obsession with Sipani and the Badal, ever since seeing tantalizing, grainy, black and white photos in Automobil Katalog when I was a kid. I would love a Sipani Montego or one of the near stillborn D1's (another Reliant, but with a Daihatsu Charade knock-off fibreglass body).

Which car? Want to make sure I don’t buy that particular hatchback.

I was winding up to mock you (that’s my mood right now), but I can’t. That seems pretty clever.

Oh whee, it’s Autolatina all over again!

But there is no extra utility, aside from the perceived. And last I checked, CUVs were no roomier than regular cars, they just take up marginally more space.

It was actually a shortened 128...

Sad but true... I try to stay out of that zone, but I think everyone is guilty every so often.

Those Avalon fanbois, unlike car dealers, are sure to be very active on the internet. :)

On the nose.

First time I ever smoked weed, in high school, leaving for lunch five-up in my friend’s Suzuki Samurai (a good place to take off...). Going down the steep hill of Ken Caryl Avenue, which crosses Kipling Pkwy, which also has a steep slope - meaning that the take-off had quite the tilt.

A Cavalier is two sizes bigger than the Spark. We used to travel five people around Europe in an Opel Ascona (Europe’s J-car) when I was a kid, along with all of our luggage and a tent that could hold us all. I’d like to see a Spark do that.

Easy: it wasn’t developed with the American market in mind. Nothing more to it.

Film is fun in its own right, but to change, all you need to do is buy the housing. That way you can keep using your lenses and other accessories.

I remember stories of these being stolen in Europe at an alarming rate, to be shipped to Russia. As in breaking into houses just to get the keys, while not touching anything else.

Having driven one (a four-cylinder turbo) a few times in Greece, I can attest to it sort of sucking in real life as well. Fast, sure, but not particularly fun to drive and horrible visibility. I preferred my friend’s Uno Turbo to his Coupé, but liked grandma’s Subaru M80 best.

Yes, but then no Golf GTis. Instead, the Simca 1000 Rallye would have been kept in production and spawned a number of rear-engined hot econo-boxes.

I’d recommend Queens, NY - awesome food, and from my Helpful Heather perspective not a particularly dangerous place to be black. AFAIK...

Yep, here in NY suburbs small firms are desperate for old compact Japanese pickups. Supplies are drying out, however, so there oughta be a market.

There were camper versions as well...

Too late for Christmas, but maybe for Valentine’s Day?
