I'm not a fan either, but I think part of the problem is that it's not a particularly well-written character. She's more or less a plot device. It will be interesting to see how she interacts with Norman, b/c I think that's where Janet Leigh really shined. She showed a real warmth and humanity in those scenes that I

I know, you're just enjoying seeing her in it. Never mind the details! LOL!

I know that's what happened in the movie, but we never saw that in the show, did we? I thought we were to believe that was her car.

My sentiments exactly!! Seemed a bit above her pay grade!

I could be wrong, but I'm thinking that sallgood_man may have meant that the story in the show may not play out exactly as it did in the movie. Although that's interesting info about Hershey…

Thanks for the info! I'd forgotten that she wasn't originally from the U.S.

Doesn't look that way according to IMDB. Weird thing is, they looked fine until I saw her profile! LOL!

That's the beginning and the ending of his reasoning, I'm sure! Can't be her acting resume!

I was more than willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, but man, was she BAD!

LOL!! She's almost as underrated as Ms. Streep, after all!

Man, that was exactly my reaction! For some reason, I expected something more thoughtful from Cuse. His reasoning is pretty disappointing!

Kind of strange reasoning for such an important character. You would've thought her poor acting in the past might have given him pause. I thought he was going to point out something in particular that she would bring to the part, other than ratings. He sounds more starstruck than someone in that position should be!

Wow! Good call! I can't wait to rewatch and I'll have to check that out…

I can see that! I will say that, in profile, her lips look kinda weird! Like very duck-ish! She could easily pass for Norma's daughter, though!

I know this might seem odd to say, but I think it's funny that anyone would think that was Norma's earring. That's SO not her style! That earring was kind of bohemian, which Emma's mom was, but Norma tends to go for very classic styles. I couldn't see her wearing that type of earring in a million years!

I'm sorry, but I have to say it — the word you're looking for is "segue". A Segway is a vehicle. I freakin hate it when people pull "big" words out of their asses, without bothering to figure out how they're spelled…

Her face when she was talking to Jesus just broke my heart. That was some terrific acting right there! She's got a beautifully expressive face!

Oh my God, we laughed like idiots! How gross to get all that crap in your face!!

Oh my God, dude, seriously - STFU!!!! IF YOU HATE THE SHOW SO GODDAMN MUCH, GTFO OFF THE SITE AND GO BOTHER PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE!!!!

Khary Payton was FABULOUS in this episode! His character really ran the gamut of emotions, and he nailed every one of them! I was surprised at how fierce he could be! I thought this was the best episode all year so far!
