What kind of imbecile would listen to a man’s opinion of what should happen in a women’s bathroom?

The whole screaming thing would be shitty but not that out of the ordinary. But the fuckin’ backhand shit was insane. Far more embarrassing behavior from McElwain
It’s not about pocket passers versus mobile QBs. It’s about finding college quarterbacks with experience reading the defense pre-snap, making line calls, audibling into a different play, etc. Almost no colleges do that any more.
The insularity of the NFL is so astounding. When confronted with more successful ideas, they seem to want to COMPLAIN about innovation rather than adopt them
There’s no rule that says the QB has to make all these line checks and audibles himself. If an NFL team would stop complaining about colleges and adopt what they do and have the coordinator read the defense and change the play at the line for the QB, you’d get production out of college QBs the rest of the league…
“Our boys are good boys! They’re good boys at football. We win ‘em! With the boys! The football!”
We’re the red and white from State....AND WE REMEMBER THAT RUSSELL WAS OUR’S FIRST GODDAMNIT.
Fascinating stuff.
It’s always the newly converted you gotta worry about.
I think the model way to do it is to hire a GM and Coach who have a good working relationship with each other and who know that neither is above the other in the organizational structure. They just have different roles that sometimes overlap, and it’s on them to collaborate when those overlaps happen.
What sport can you possibly watch if you care about this? I’m not saying you have to jump and down and worship steroids, but this is a thing you either make peace with or find something else to do with your time.
No, it was a combination of rapid expansion diluting the pitching talent pool + tinier old fashioned ballparks as the cavernous multi-sport parks began to be phased out + natural ebb and flow of hitter/pitcher conflict
Because the history of baseball is a cycle of hitters gaining the upper hand for a number of years before the pendulum swings back to pitchers and then the whole thing starts again, and we’re in a pitcher swing right now. Furthermore, the offensive explosion had more to do with rapid expansion to cover the costs of…
Never trust a large institution with a reputation to protect to do the right thing, ever. Whether it’s a corporation, a college, a church, a governmental body, it doesn’t matter.
Man there’s still people in this world who get feisty about steroids in 2015, knowing everything we know about steroid culture in sports since the 50s and the history of leagues going out of their way to make sure they either don’t test or have testing that doesn’t catch anyone. What the hell guys? Did Rocky 4 really…
On no level did he shit all over the game. All he did was do what every other athlete in every other major team sport does. If baseball wanted players to not take steroids, they would have instituted testing. If they actually cared about the issue beyond PR, they wouldn’t have their laughably pathetic testing they do…
The whole point of the article is that he’s a fake who acts like a robot in public, with the obvious comparison to fellow walking advertisement robot Derek Jeter.
The funny thing is, the whole purpose of the 2nd Amendment was to try to avoid having a large standing professional military by safeguarding the existence of part time soldier militias to do most of the defense of the frontier.
I don’t see what’s so bad about a guy who cares about making as much money as he can while he can. I don’t find his public persona very interesting, nor do I think it’s very authentic, but it sells and nobody cares about a 45 year old athlete, so do what you have to do.
As if football coaches who spend most of their day either in a film room or recruiting, and who make exorbitant salaries to coach semi-pro teenagers know anything about the real world.
