Good. I care about a sport, not a soap opera.

I’d say it more like mull-teh-verse. The emphasis on the middle syllable is a very Canadian/Upper Midwest affectation, bringing to mine hockey players saying “organ - EYE - zation”.
In the last decade 5 NHL teams have ended droughts of at least 39 years.
All of Pennsylvania is decidedly not the Northeast. There’s a reason most of the state is derided as Pennsatucky. Get outside the Commonwealth Counties and you may as well be in the deep south.
while this fixes the problem of the last 3 minutes being a slog, it does nothing to fix the problem of the first 40 minutes being a tedious back and forth trot that’s barely more than a warmup.
The store brands finally started competing with Lacroix, Dasani, and Polar instead of completely flavorless Vintage seltzer, so I can save over a dollar a case.
I would really liked to have seen accurately detailed Astronauts for Armstrong, Aldrin, and Collins, and new helmet/tank molds.
I like Anker stuff, but the nonfolding plug kills that model. I just got the Aukey and it’s been good. Ravpower also has a good option: https://www.amazon.com/RAVPower-Charger-Delivery-Charging-Compatible/dp/B07N1MGDFK/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=ravpower+delivery&qid=1559155225&s=wireless&sr=1-9, and is about to release a…

and it’s not even like it would slow things down. Just buzz a wristband on the ump if the pitch passes through a strike zone that’s exactly the same for everyone.
NetMD was a weird proprietary protocol that could let you convert mp3s to atrac and write to the disc. These were extremely limited and very expensive
Exactly, it took them until 2004 to allow non-proprietary formats on minidisc, and HI-MD wasn’t backwards compatible.
its beyond time for an automated radar strikezone. umpire arrogance taints too many games, and there is no way for a human observer to call balls and strikes accurately and impartially.
The truly absurd thing is that Sony had minidiscs at a time when people were absolutely desperate for a rewritable format that could hold more than 1.44mb. Iomega Zip disks were EVERYWHERE in the late 90s, but would Sony release a MiniDisc drive for PC? Of course not.
I’ve seen Boston have goals allowed off the netting, off a player on the bench, with 7 skaters on the ice in 4 on 4 overtime. Karma’s a bitch.
I think at this point, most big 4 players are going to be living in a big suburban mansion, the type of thing that can be found in almost every market. Some of the young single guys might want a big city lifestyle, but New York doesn’t have a monopoly on that any more, and as long as they don’t get stuck in a c-list…
Yeah, they don’t actually have big and tall sizes. If you look at their measurements, the 3xl is slightly smaller than a 2xl at most places, and the tall basically takes it back to a normal hem length.
Yeah, I actually used way less cash than I expected when I went in October. With 7Eleven everywhere, it was easy enough to get more. Definitely was happy I had a couple thousand Yen on me a couple of times.
Yes. absolutely worth the credit pull to set up the account. It might take a few weeks for them to credit the ATM fee, but they always do for me.
The need to use cash at so many places was annoying. Next time I go I need to figure out how to use Suica to pay for stuff at stores that have it but not credit.
The World Juniors are already my favorite sports event of the year, and this game was absolutely incredible.
