For carryon I always go with 2 changes of underwear/socks, a pair of pants, and at least one shirt. I always use a backpack to reduce the likelihood of getting it gatechecked.

Agreed. Those orei universal outlets with the side plug are also really handy if you have to unplug something to access an outlet. I just don’t like how bulky some of them are. I have them for UK and China style outlets, but I went with the lower profile

I have the 4 port version, and it’s pretty great. Only problem is that it’s a bit bulky compared to the flatter Anker chargers, but the slide on international plugs make up for that by being smaller than the adapters I carry for my laptop.

I refuse to watch nationally broadcast penguins games because the announcers are blatantly rooting for the crybaby. What I see is him left alone more than any other star player because defenders are utterly terrified of him diving and drawing a phantom penalty. You should try watching someone like John Tavares, Ryan…
The NHL doesn’t want the Flyers to win, they’ve invested 40 years in making them the “heel” of the league. They’re also the only American team whose fanbase will stick around when they don’t win a playoff series for a few straight years, so the league is less concerned about propping them up. Meanwhile, the NHL had a…
I can barely stand to watch the NHL any more because they clearly play favorites. Just like the NFL has refs throwing games with inane holding and pass interference calls, and MLB uses the strike zone to try to pick winners, the NHL gives refs a few tools to work with.
Charge time is only meaningless if you have a garage. Millions of drivers don’t. Millions don’t have driveways either, even if they wanted to leave a high voltage cord exposed. Charging overnight simply isn’t an option for many people.
hell, I’m in my 30s, but getting my head under the roof of my Camry (sigh) is a bit of a stretch.
I think there’s a bit of height race when it comes to CUVs. It’s become increasingly difficult to see around other vehicles because more and more of them are tall, so people need a tall ride, but still want it to feel like a car.
Neutral:
Yes, I would totally buy a Renegade if it was made by Toyota (or Mazda).
Plenty of suburbanites go there when they make their rare trip into the city for a game or concert, because they don’t know any better. They’re basically tourists, but they are technically from “around here”.
That banner looks like they skipped a color layer when printing it, like they only put drop shadows but forgot the letters above them.
Fairmount Park is one of the largest urban parks in the world. It’s just that the Centennial Concourse section, Philly’s equivalent of Grant Park, is a couple miles from Center City and has poor transit access.
I’m all for public transit, and believe this country should spend vastly more money to make it an effective options for at least 3/4 of the population.
No mention of the yankees - KC Athletics “special relationship”?
Plenty of new organisations take anonymous tips though. Here’s the New York Times:
please forward that memo/response to journalists. It’s exactly the type of resistance that need to be reported on.
Russia’s lead in this is almost entirely due to their lack of warm water ports. They’re also largely on their own, where NATO as whole has a fair number of icebreakers.
