news to me, for the amount of Lebron coverage, I thought he won again.
Meh, I don't know who won most years, I hate basketball like most Americans hate soccer. I find it painful to watch and am disgusted by the way ESPNba forces it down our throats in the delusional belief that it can be as popular as Football.
Basketball is barely a team sport anymore, it's you don't have one of the top 5 players in the league, you don't stand a chance. That's what drives the tanking.
It wasn't "semi-dirty", it was a deliberate attempt to injure. Stevens later knocked out Paul Kariya on a virtually identical play. Steven's was notorious for the types of hit that guys like Matt Cooke and James Neal are now vilified for, but for some reason, Stevens never got in trouble for his frequent flying elbows.
the sixers, Philly's 5th favorite team
Wow, talk about windshield perspective. Drive to the highway, drive to the stadium, from the city center? Why would I do that when I can take the subway.
Lincoln Financial Field couldn't host World Cup soccer in its current layout. The way the seats pinch in at the end zones makes the field too narrow. It's fine for friendlies and league, and the Women's World Cup having to relocate in a hurry.
Nope, just a roster guy. Which makes it all the more amazing that he plays through injury, and the biggest star of ESPNba can't even walk off a leg cramp.
His name is Derek Stepan.
In my experience, it's usually the other way around. The friends/relatives saw Geno's/Pat's on food network or travel channel, or read about it, and insist that's where they need to go.
shhhhhhh, don't tell them that.
The Philadelphia metro generates almost half of the commonwealth tax revenue, but recieves less than a third of the state spending. It's the pennsatucky counties north of I-80 that are the black hole of spending. The catch is that economics doesn't care about lines on a map. Philly proper has a lot of poverty, and…
It's much more that Philly and Pittsburgh fund pennsatucky, who in turn resents being dragged into the 20th century. They don't understand that having 2 major cities in the Commonwealth is the difference between a civilisation and bumblefuck
Every time I see a map that judges things by state borders, I'm reminded that much like Africa and the Middle East, our borders are based on arbitrary decisions made over a century ago.
I want that Challenger, because holy crap.
Just when you thought New York teams couldn't be more hateable, the Yankees get caught cheating in the same week the Rangers finally get called on their dive-a-palooza.
Shame there aren't publicly available stats on teams' records when specific refs are officiating.
People who are real fans don't need google.
