100% agreed they should have killed off Frank when his liver was completely shot. And the fact that he hasn’t had any new liver problems despite continued drinking and drugs is just another failure in the show's storytelling.

This episode was like chocolate chip cookies if half the chips were actually chocolate and the other half were donkey shit.

It’s a dramedy switching between drama and comedy frequently with huge tonal shifts but not letting either dominate the show.

I almost find myself wishing they had planned Barry as a one season mini-series instead of regular series.

His dickishness was great when directed at a shitbag like Erlich Bachmann. Jian Yang is the one element of the show that stopped working with TJ Miller gone because they had to turn him against Pied Piper making him an outright antagonist instead of a side-annoyance.

Zach Woods’ delivery of “Would you like to die today, motherfucker?” without a doubt ranks among the greatest line readings in TV comedy history. The perfect blend of unassuming deference and genuine malice. Give that man an Emmy already!

In only one season, “Barry” just might have already established itself as the best dramedy of all time. Really wow.
