That’s what bothers me- it’s so extreme in the other direction. She’s a 16 year old whose market is young, barely elementary aged children. I don’t know, I find that bizarre.

I can’t help but agree. There’s an arrested development here that I find unsettling. You can be a bright and colorful Nickelodeon-esque teenager and appeal to elementary school fanbase without seeming like you’re trying to be one of them (see: Clarissa Darling.)

What she said is exactly what I said when I read his response. Of course he doesn't remember. He does this all the time. We've seen him do it ourselves on many occasions on camera in public. This is what he does. It wouldn't be at all notable to him. 

Their plastic surgeon doesn’t even bother trying to do a good job anymore since they’ll just want to redo it in six months anyway, so s/he just gives them the plastic surgery equivalent of a Happy Meal and books the next appointment
