I think you mean, “Who is excited to vote for a former First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State?”
I think you mean, “Who is excited to vote for a former First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State?”
This hot take is keeping me very warm on this cold day
But the point here is you didn’t have to dig at all. They gave their full throated support to a bigot. There’s no denying that. They endorsed a man who is a misogynistic pathological liar for president, and they did it publicly. That is what this all is.
Actually, they both gave Donald Trump permission to announce their endorsements at a rally in New Hampshire the night before the election.
I hope he just buys some fabric dye for his socks instead of throwing them all out and buying new ones.
How exactly is a former US Senator and Secretary of State a terrible candidate for POTUS? If you can’t get excited to vote for someone with those credentials, especially when their opponent is an unhinged reality TV star, that’s on you, not them.
That’s what I love about Hockey East! Besides the recent addition of Notre Dame, every game has some history and regional rivalry built in. They should make that the conference for every sport and call it “Sports East”
As a UMass grad and a New Englander, it’s always bummed me out that there isn’t a conference for the schools up here, similar to the Big 10 in the Mid-West. UConn, URI and UMass have been playing football against each other since the early 20th century, and have built in rivalries with UNH, BC, Holy Cross, etc. I know…
Smokey Joe Wood and Grover Cleveland Alexander are historically the best pitcher names
Names Cleveland baseball teams had before they settled on the Indians:
It’s amazing how many team names they had before settling on Indians. They could go back to any of their names from the early 20th century and still be honoring their “heritage”.
A somewhat unrelated note about the Washington Post article, I can’t stand Kevin Millar. When I think about the ‘04 team, it never makes sense to me that he was actually part of it.
Man, I love Mo Vaughn. Him leaving the Red Sox was a defining moment in my childhood. The Sox have never been the same.
It’s almost as if DC should have spent the money they put into the National’s stadium on the Metro system...
The Atlantic 10 is going to be a tough division this year with the Celtics and the Sixers joining. I think UMass can still win it though.
The post was sarcastic. Obviously I know that those things don’t always make or break someone getting into the hall, but people are talking about Ortiz being the greatest hitter who ever lived right now and a first ballot hall of famer. I think he was an above average hitter who performed in clutch situations, but I…
It’s easy when you only play half the game. Also, people in front of him on the HR list: Manny Ramirez, Rafael Palmeiro, Sammy Sosa, and of course Barry Bonds. None of these guys are getting into the hall because they were on the same list Ortiz was on in 2003. Why does he get a pass and these guys don’t?
This Ortiz celebration has been seriously over the top. They are already retiring his number? Any argument to put him in the HOF falls apart:
Jill Stein has actually repeatedly run for office in Massachusetts and has only ever been able to win a town meeting seat, which basically anyone can win. She has failed in all other elections.
Is this the flaw with the 2 team wild card though? If it were those three teams competing for one spot, I think the race would be much more interesting. I think the one game play off just waters it down.
