When I was engaged, he told me I would be taking his name. Never mind what I wanted to be called, he wanted to be a ‘real man’. Luckily the wedding/engagement/life he planned for me got called off and I kept my name.

I had plans, life had other plans and I took up having seizures, now I’m 26, 27 next month, with no idea what to do with my life except live. It’s not guaranteed that because you have plans, that life will take any notice. 

I swear this years going by so quickly. January seemed to drag on for about three months, then i blinked and it was March, then I blinked again and it’s now May. Where is this year going and why is it going so quick?

In my admittedly small friend group, we dom’t do baby showers at all. One friend adopts/fosters a lot, and has her bio kids, while my other friend is legal guardian of his baby sisters. When there is a new baby/child in the group, we get together to meet them and have a couple of drinks together, but I don’t think…

It was lovely. We are now full of cookies,cakes, and tea/coffee, and we’re going to watch Starkid shows soon :)

What a dickweed. Is something like this an option or a bandana like this to hopefully stop this happening again? Or just saying she’ll bite*? If a dog thinks they’re being attacked, which most people on the street aren’t gonna know every dogs history and personaliyt, it could be an option.
