She’s pointing out that what he did to them would be cruel and unusual punishment so she couldn’t sentence him to that.

He tried to get out of listening to the testimonies by saying it would be detrimental to his mental health. After that? No mercy.

As an MSU graduate, I am disgusted with her response, and have made that clear to the board of trustees, who I am also disgusted with.

I thought no school will ever cover up a pedophile on their staff like Penn State did. This, however, is much deeper. Like 5 times the size of Penn State scandal yet it received very minimal media coverage.

People in positions of power like this need to understand that if abuse has occurred but you were not aware of it, it just means that you have not created an environment where people can safely come forward and report. Your ignorance is as much an indictment as if you knew and did nothing.

As a Lansing resident, and former Spartan, I think it is well past time for her to go. The entire Board of Directors of MSU and anyone at the university who ignored or covered up Nassar’s crimes should also go. Ideally, I’d like to see some charges filed against them.
