Lol the USA has a fucking terrible maternal AND infant mortality rate. What are you on about. I’m not anti-science and a lot of women who choose home birth/ midwife care aren’t either. For low-risk women this type of care is safer than hospital birth in many areas of the USA.

I was too flippant; obviously (to me, anyway) not every hospital birth is a nightmare. But a lot of women still have only shitty backwards hospitals available to them, and this experience is what I’m familiar with in my area of the world.
