There have been supposive lottery picks at KU before that when they actually played ppl their size and skill, they weren’t actually any good (Cliff Robinson type guys).  I am sure the NBA would rather have him play at a higher level than NBL…

also dont get exposed vs other top players of similar athleticism, many top 10 recruits would have probably benefited in draft situation if they didnt have to play vs other top talent before they got drafted, NBL is a semi-pro league, not close to the level of competition of a blue blood college
